…this song was recorded during the FOUR sessions (not the A Watched Pot sessions)…after i released A Watched Pot (the record) i had always wanted to write a song with that title, and on one of my trips down to Nashville i convinced some pro writer friends there to help me out with it…Greg Becker has been a pal since my college days, he's written tracks for Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flats, and a bunch of others….i reaLLy love some of the images and ideas he envisioned for this story of the ultimate unrequited love….i recorded the acoustic and vocal at the same time, no click track..it's a bit raw, but hopefully effective….and yeS, that's real french horn (had aLways wanted to record that..)...
